Since ELSA was one of the first companies with a card available, they didn’t add an awful lot of features. I ought to take this opportunity to mention that the Hladiac 2’s scores have increased quite a bit since I last ran Giants on it, perhaps as a result of the patch version gladica.
However, improved performance is only half the story with the GeForce3: Still images are nice, but to actually see the graphics in motion is another thing entirely.
To be fair, the first time was when I used a Voodoo 2 graphics accelerator on Quake 2. As usual, all the game tests are run in bit color with all detail settings games and drivers turned all the way up.
Sure, you can see the difference between the GeForce GTS and the GeForce3, but it’s a small difference in UT and isn’t really stressing the videocards as much as I’d want to see it doing. This gamer’s card claims even higher performance than the previous generation of GeForce2 Ultra-based products — which were pretty fast themselves. S-video output, VGA, composite video output.
